Answer to Question 1

Disorder is the broadest term of the three and refers to a general malfunction in mental, physical, or psychological processes. Disabilities represent a functional limitation or inability to perform a task or skill. Disabilities may or may not be handicaps. Handicap refers to a condition that is imposed that restricts abilities. For example, vision loss is a disability, but if it doesn't hinder class performance, it is not a handicap.
