Answer to Question 1

d

Answer to Question 2

This assessment lacks validity because children are likely to know the letters in their own names, and identifying the letters in their own names doesn't give the teacher information about their ability to identify letters that don't appear in their own names. The assessment would likely be quite reliable, since the teacher can easily and consistently determine whether or not the children can identify the letters in their names.
