(a) You would look for behaviors such as uneven academic performance, e.g., quite high in math but very low in reading, hyperactivity, and inattention.

Answer to Question 2

The emphasis on people-first language is intended to remind us that all students are human beings who need to be treated with respect and care, and having a disability should not reduce the level of respect and care that they receive.
