Answer to Question 1

Dropstones are gravel- to boulder-sized rocks found in otherwise fine-grained glacial lake deposits.
They indicate transport of the rocks into the lake by icebergs that eventually melted, releasing the
coarser sediment



Answer to Question 2

The terminal moraine marks the farthest limit of the ice advance; the recessional moraine marks the
position of the ice during a period of retreat
