Answer to Question 1

Answer: Aerosols stay in the atmosphere for a few weeks or months. Greenhouse gases remain for centuries.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Weather refers to the state of the atmosphere in the short term at a given location whereas climate is a description of aggregate weather conditions based on observations over many decades.
