Todd was telling his brother, Mike, how he doesn't like to ask girls out from his class and how otherwise he is having difficulty meeting someone. Mike says, I know what's going on  you do not want to ask out girls out from the classes you take because you are afraid that if they reject you, you still have to meet them every week.
