Answer to Question 1

Stream power is the ability of a stream to do work, or to expend energy to erode and transport sediment. When stream power decreases, sediments are no longer eroded and transported, and instead those sediments carried by the stream are deposited.

Answer to Question 2

Bedload consists of grains that move by rolling, sliding, and bouncing along the bed and spend most of the time in contact with the bed. Suspended load consists of grains floating in the water column. Dissolved load is the dissolved ions transported by the river.
