Why is calcite not common in the igneous rock exposed at Yosemite National park?
 
  A) Calcite isn't found anywhere in California.
  B) Calcite is too strong to melt in magma, later becoming igneous rocks.
  C) Magma is formed beneath the earth's surface which primarily contains heavier minerals like silicates, not calcite.
  D) Calcite can only be in sedimentary rocks.
