Answer to Question 1

B
In the supine position, gastric contents would likely enter the superior segment of the lower lobes or posterior segment of the upper lobes, the gravity-dependent segments in the supine position.

Answer to Question 2

D
Atelectasis of an entire lung rarely occurs. Atelectasis of the primary lobule (alveoli) is the most common type of atelectasis. Lung segment atelectasis is a fairly common occurrence. Lung lobe atelectasis is a less common occurrence.

This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition.
