Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
Treatment for BPH includes watchful waiting until the client is symptomatic. Medications that can be beneficial for these symptoms include doxazosin (Cardura), terazosin (Hytrin), tamsulosin (Flomax), and finasteride (Proscar). Prostate size can be reduced by a number of different methods, such as simple prostatectomy (removal of the prostate), transurethral incision, transurethral microwave thermotherapy, and transurethral needle ablation. TURP remains the standard surgical treatment for obstructive BPH. The method selected depends on the client and the preference of the healthcare provider.

People who have myopia, or nearsightedness, are not able to see objects at a distance but only up close. It occurs when the cornea is either curved too steeply, the eye is too long, or both. This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
