Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
Postural drainage uses position and gravity to drain secretions and mucus from the individual's lungs. The person adopts a head-downward position, which allows the secretions to run far enough into the trachea from the bronchi so that they can be coughed out. The client's exact position will depend on the portion of the lung to be drained. Treatments generally last about 15 to 20 minutes.
