Answer to Question 1

D
Feedback:
A medical diagnosis identifies the disease a person has or is believed to have. Physicians arrive at a medical diagnosis by studying the physiologic manifestations of the illness and establishing its cause and nature. A medical diagnosis provides a basis for prognosis (projected client outcome) and medical treatment decisions. Nursing diagnosis process involves identifying the nursing care problem and planning care based on the problems or diagnosis identified. Nursing diagnosis is not to be confused with medical diagnosis.

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
The top seven vertebrae (in the neck) are called cervical vertebrae. Directly below the cervical vertebrae are 12 thoracic vertebrae, to which the ribs are attached. The next five vertebrae are the lumbar vertebrae. They are located in the small of the back. In adults, the sacral vertebrae are fused together, (the sacrum), which anchors the pelvis.
