Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, is a written document, in which a client names another person to make healthcare decisions should the client become unable to do so. A living will is a written and legally witnessed document that requests no extraordinary measures to be taken to save a person's life in the event of terminal illness. A directive to physicians is another type of written document, not verbal communication, that can be useful for terminally ill adults who have no other person to name as their agent for making healthcare decisions. In this case, the person directs the physician to be his or her decision maker. The physician must also agree, in writing, to accept this responsibility.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
The function of the lens is to focus light rays on the retina. The function of the cornea is to permit light rays to enter the eye. The choroid layer brings oxygen and nutrients to the eye, whereas the iris gives the eye its specific color. Supplying the eye with oxygen and nutrients, giving the eye its specific color, and focusing the light rays on the retina are not the functions of the cornea.
