Answer to Question 1

A
To ambulate 50 feet with a walker by Tuesday is a patient-centered, specific, realistic, and measurable goal, and it includes a time frame. It is the most well-written goal statement listed.
Dress self with correct assistive devices is not specific (what assistive devices? dress what part of self?). Also, it does not have a time frame.
Majority of meals is not measurable (what portion? 75? 90?).
Give self insulin injections as instructed does not indicate a time frame.

Answer to Question 2

B
There is no license for APRNs. An APRN must have an RN license and a certification to practice as an APRN in the state(s) he or she practices in.
APRNs need to obtain certification, not a license, in each state of practice.
Becoming an RN requires a license; an APRN is a certification.
Licensure exists for the RN; APRNs have certification.
