Answer to Question 1

collimation

Rationale: Collimation according to the field size or smaller must be adjusted on the tube head. The console will allow for adjustment of kVp, mAs, mA, time, focal spot size, AEC chambers, which Bucky is in use, and the expose button.

Answer to Question 2

grids

Rationale: Grids serve to clean up image quality between the patient and the image receptor, but do not influence a reduction in scatter production.
