Answer to Question 1

AP oblique with 45 degree medial rotation

Rationale: The image represents an AP oblique with 45 degree medial rotation. The proximal tibiofibular joint is open. In addition, one-half of the patella is projected off the medial femoral condyle. The lateral femoral condyle is in profile.

Answer to Question 2

LPO

Rationale: Zygapophyseal joints in lumbar spine will image the side down or side closest to the IR with AP oblique projections.
