Answer to Question 1

weight-bearing lateral

Rationale: The longitudinal arch runs the length of the foot in the region of the metatarsals. A weight bearing lateromedial projection of the foot could be used to evaluate the longitudinal arch of the foot.

Answer to Question 2

foreshortening

Rationale: Shape distortion results with the part is not aligned parallel to the image receptor and the central ray cannot intersect the part perpendicular.
