Rationale: A narrow window width will increase radiographic contrast. A wider window width will decrease radiographic contrast.

to the mid humerus

Rationale: A humerus exam that is ordered, regardless of specific point of pain, requires centering to go towards the mid humerus. The humerus is a long bone and when imaged, both the proximal and distal joints must be included.
