Open gloving uses the skin-to-skin, glove-to-glove technique. The first glove is put on with the skin-to-skin, glove-to-glove technique, bare hand to inside cuff. Grasp the inner edge of the left glove and pull it on, leaving the cuff turned down. Slip the fingers of the sterile gloved hand under the cuff of the other everted glove. Insert fingers of the right glove and pull it all the way on. With the sterile gloved fingers, pull the cuff of the left glove up. Avoid touching the bare wrists.
