ANS: T
The PA can first assist in the OR as well as function in others areas of health care. They have the authority to write prescriptions based on specialized academic and clinical training.

ANS: F
The RNFA should function solely as a first assistant and never simultaneously perform the duties of the scrub or circulating nurse.
