Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

A
An example of a quasi-experimental design would be testing nursing students before and after learning a skill. Quasi-experimental studies collect data before and after some event, such as the introduction of a new skill to students via lecture or demonstration. The student is given a pretest before learning the skill, the treatment may be a lecture or demonstration on the skill, and the student is then given a posttest. The posttest will determine if the student learned from the treatment (i.e., lecture or demonstration).
