Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

D
The best approach to be used by a psychiatric nurse working with families is to provide the best outcome for the situation. Also, the level of nursing education will dictate when the nurse will provide the care and when referral should be made to one with more specialized skill and experience. For example if the best outcomes would be achieved by family counseling sessions, then the nurse should refer the family to an APN or other therapist with graduate education and experience in family counseling.
