Answer to Question 1

D
Living wills are invoked only in cases of terminal illness.

Answer to Question 2

B
Giving unclear or contradictory messages is a dysfunctional pattern of communication. Messages
should be clear and unequivocal. Permissive parenting would allow the children to do as they
pleased. Defensiveness would be suggested by trying to protect self from perceived attack.
Supportive parenting would provide clear communication.
