Out of pouch. The joey is able to go in and out of the pouch.

Answer to Question 2

Non-abrasive, non-toxic material. Aspen, shredded forest floor bark, or recycled newspaper. The bedding should be at least two inches deep. Cedar shavings should not be used because they contain oils that are toxic.
