scientists refer to the inborn love of nature as biophilia. It is necessary for humans to feel
closeness to nature, to draw it toward them. Though pets can be diffucult to control, what does work
consistently is to bring the beauty of the Plant Kingdom into the home or any other environment
occupied by humans. Plants soften the interior and provide a sense of calm and stability.
