You whip a rope by tightly coiling strong cord around the end for a distance of 1/2 or 3/4 inch,
depending on the diameter of the rope.



Answer to Question 2

Concrete floors may be protected from moisture penetration by placing a moisture-proof membrane
between the fill material and the concrete.
