Answer to Question 2

The power supply is a device that provides electricity of proper type and amount to circuits. They
increase or decrease the incoming AC voltage by means of a transformer, convert AC to DC current by
using a rectifier, and control voltage output with a voltage regulator. Also, a filter converts pulsating
DC voltage to smooth voltage.
