Answer to Question 1

Loading the brush is to dip about one third of the length of the bristles into the paint and touch the
bristles to the side of the paint container to remove the excess paint and prevent dripping.

Hiding power is the ability of a material to create color and mask out the presence of colors over which
it is spread.
