Answer to Question 1

Active solar energy systems capture, store, and distribute the energy from the sun using some sort of mechanism
to move the heat. Passive systems provide avenues for the sun to enter, but rely on natural airflow to provide
distribution.



Answer to Question 2

The potential of solar energy is tremendous. The solar energy reaching the Earth's surface on any given day is about
100,000 times greater than all the electric power capacity of the world.
