Answer to Question 1

Thermal pollution can be controlled by using cooling towers and cooling lagoons to lower the water temperature
before it is returned to the water cycle.



Answer to Question 2

Thermal pollution affects fish populations by disrupting their normal function. The warmed water may trigger
spawning and migration.
