Answer to Question 1

Crop rotation systems help improve soil structure, tilth, and moisture-holding capacity. All those help hold soil
particles in place, thus helping to control erosion. In addition, for Classes II, III, and IV land, it provides breaks
in the frequency and amount of time the surface is exposed

Answer to Question 2

A cover crop is a close-growing crop planted between the growing cycles of crops grown for actual production. It
holds the soil in place while it is growing and improves the soil by adding organic matter, nitrogen (in the case of
legumes), and developing improved soil structure.

It is believed that the Incas used anesthesia. Evidence supports the theory that shamans chewed cocoa leaves and drilled holes into the heads of patients (letting evil spirits escape), spitting into the wounds they made. The mixture of cocaine, saliva, and resin numbed the site enough to allow hours of drilling.
