Answer to Question 1

Questions to ask about this law: How will it be enforced? Who will pay for the
enforcement of this law? Are you willing to pay more taxes to make sure the law is
enforced? Laws created by the students will vary. Most will restrict the manufacture
of confinement devices or use of them. This will lead back to their answers on
question 3. Higher taxes to pay for enforcement and inspection of animal operations
is a possibility, along with higher prices for goods and products due to a change in
manufacturing practices

Answer to Question 2

This is an opinion question. The instructor should point out that there are many
products that would be affected by a price point double or triple the current market
price. Shoes, boots, belts, purses, pastries, breakfast items, other egg products, and
all meat products will be affected. Students may be willing to eat less meat, but
would they be willing to give up shoes or purses?

The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).
