Answer to Question 1

1. Method 1: Grasp by the base of the tail and lift up the mouse.
2. Method 2: Set a cup down in a cage, and allow the mouse to go in; then scoop it up. This method is
especially helpful with mice that are afraid to come out of their cage.



Answer to Question 2

1. Sunflower seeds should be added to a ration sparingly because they are high in fat.
2. It is important that hay be free of any chemicals, contaminants, or molds that may affect the
animal's health.
3. Do not feed too many treats, because they can cause upset stomach and diarrhea.
