Answer to Question 1

Sediment pollution causes navigable waterways to be clogged and causes fish and other
organic life to die due to the lack of oxygen and because of the muddy water it creates.



Answer to Question 2

Soil erosion is the wearing away of the soil by wind or water, causing the loss of topsoil
and the pollution of surface water by the displaced soil.
