Pathogenic diseases and nematodes can become established below the
loosened soil zone since pasteurization procedures are not effective in this zone.
These harmful agents eventually migrate into the root zone.

Answer to Question 2

Horizontal air flow. It maintains more uniform temperatures in the
greenhouse.
