How does calibration of a handheld spray gun differ from a manual sprayer? What would you do to ensure applying 2 gal per 1,000 sq. ft.?

Answer to Question 1

Collect the spray from the gun for 1 min, then measure the time needed to uniformly spray 1,000 sq. ft. The application rate in gal/1,000 sq. ft is the time required to spray 1,000 sq. ft x the flow rate.
