Answer to Question 1

C
A small mass of cells in the right atrium, or the sinoatrial node (SA node), normally controls the heart rate by rhythmically generating electrical impulses. Once the heartbeat is generated, the impulse travels through the AV node, along the bundle of His, and to the Purkinje fibers.

Answer to Question 2

4. Soy and black cohosh can be used to manage the hot flashes associated with menopause.

Rationale:
The hot flashes can be successfully managed with soy and black cohosh. Estrogen is not recommended for a client with a history of breast cancer. Olive oil is not used to manage the vasomotor symptoms being reported. Advising the client there are not means to manage the condition is not correct.
