Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

C
Powerlessness is manifested by verbalization of dissatisfaction over inability to control the situation, passively giving up, aggressive, hostile behavior, difficulty expressing one self directly, anxiety, resignation, and depression. Ineffective Coping is manifested by the inability to meet basic needs and being unable to ask for help. Anxiety has various physiological, emotional, and cognitive manifestations. This patient will have an Altered Role Performance, however this is not the best diagnosis for the patient at this time.
