Answer to Question 1

B
A nonstress test is a noninvasive procedure used to assess fetal well-being. A fetal monitor records fetal movement and fetal heart rate accelerations. Two accelerations of 15 bpm, lasting 15 seconds in a 20-minute period, indicate a normal test. The lack of fetal reaction my be caused by the fetus either being asleep or experiencing problems. Decelerations require notification of the health care provider.

Answer to Question 2

D
When administering eyedrops, hold the eyedropper at least 1/2 inch above the eyeball to prevent contamination from microorganisms that are in the eye.
