Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
The nurse should place the instruments and equipment on the side of the examiner's dominant hand, if possible. If not, the nurse should anticipate what will be needed during the procedure and hand the examiner one item at a time. Placing all of the instruments near the examiner or behind the examiner will not help the examiner perform the procedure promptly. Also, it is not a good practice to ask the examiner every time the nurse needs to hand over an instrument. The nurse must be familiar with the examination equipment and the order of its use.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
Medications are defined as chemical substances that change body function.
