Answer to Question 1

D
Feedback:
The nursing diagnosis of delayed surgical recovery should be treated with exercises. Some of the other nursing diagnoses that need to be treated with exercise are impaired physical mobility, disuse syndrome, unilateral neglect, and activity intolerance. The nursing diagnoses of ineffective breathing pattern, perioperative-positioning injury, or impaired social interaction do not require treatment with exercise.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
The nurse should introduce the client to a person who demonstrates a positive attitude or behavior as this promotes the ability to learn an adaptive response. The nurse should not ask the client to discontinue her exercise regime or undergo liposuction surgery as that could lead to further medical complications. Assessing the reasons for the client's eating habits is not a component of the modeling intervention.

It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
