Answer to Question 1

A
The quantity and distribution of a medication in different body compartments change constantly. Drawing peak and trough levels allows health care providers to see whether the current medication dosage is effective for the patient, or if it needs to be adjusted. Administering a double dose is dangerous and could cause the medication to cross the toxic threshold. Delivering the same amount each day may not be therapeutic or may be toxic for the patient. Holding all other medications should not affect the peak or half-life of the medications, assuming that they are compatible.

Answer to Question 2

D
I don't feel good is the feedback because the feedback is the message the receiver returns. The sender is the person who encodes and delivers the message, and the receiver is the person who receives and decodes the message. The nurse is the sender. The patient is the receiver. How are you doing? is the message.
