ANS: D
The most commonly reported adverse effects of intranasal cromolyn are sneezing, nasal burning, epistaxis, throat irritation, hoarseness, and an unpleasant bitter taste. The most serious adverse effect of cromolyn sodium is bronchospasm and coughing.
