Answer to Question 1

A, B, C, D
Feedback:
Benzodiazepines are contraindicated in pregnancy because a predictable syndrome of cleft lip or palate, inguinal hernia, cardiac defects, microcephaly, or pyloric stenosis occurs when they are taken in the first trimester. Gastroschises, when the abdominal organs are found outside the abdominal cavity, is not associated with use of benzodiazepine use in the first trimester.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
The recommended dosage for albuterol when given via inhaler is 1.25 to 2.5 mg b.i.d. When taken orally, the dosage is 2 mg t.i.d. or q.i.d. The other options are incorrect because they are outside the acceptable dosage range.
