In the majority of patients, flu-like symptoms (e.g., fever, chills, fatigue, muscle aches, headache, tachycardia) develop within 2 hours of administration of interferon alfa-2b and last up to 24 hours. Diaphoresis, changes in LOC, and changes in oxygenation are not associated with the use of interferon alfa-2b.
