Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Because the two types of drugs inhibit reverse transcriptase by different mechanisms, they may have synergistic antiviral effects. The use of two medications may decrease adherence because of the burden of taking two medications. The use of two medications will not decrease the length of the illness. They will not decrease all opportunistic infections.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
For children 6 months and older, 3 drops of Cortisoprin Otic are instilled into the affected ear three to four times daily. Dosage is not matched to acute symptoms.
