Toxic levels of morphine cause severe respiratory depression and can lead to death if unrecognized or not treated.
A. Skin rash is an allergic reaction of small, raised vesicles that are usually reddened, often distributed over the entire body.
B and C. The most commonly reported side effects are anorexia, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, abdominal gas, constipation, and diarrhea. Any side effect should be reported to a physician and pharmacist to ensure that they are not incorrectly interpreted as a more serious adverse medication reaction.
