Answer to Question 1

 The coinciding of the different percussion parts and the cyclic recurrence of these patterns of coincidence achieve coherence.
How is this principle of structural coherence in gamelan music related to the Javanese worldview?
 The simultaneous occurrence of apparently unrelated events has much significance to the Javanese and its importance is reflected in the structure of their gamelan music.

Answer to Question 2

 This gendhing uses plog scale tones 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 with an occasional 4, but no 7.
