What is the required input in watts to operate a 70 efficient 3 horsepower electric motor?
 
  A) 3 HP  746 watts/HP = 2228 watts work done input is the same as work done
  B) 3 HP  746 watts/HP = 2228 watts work done 2228 watts  0.7 = 1560- watts input
  C) 3 HP  746 watts/HP = 2228 watts work done 2228 watts work done / 0.7 = 3183 watts input
  D) The input power cannot be determined without knowing the voltage.
