According to their k values, which material is a better insulator: expanded polystyrene or expanded polyurethane?

Answer to Question 1

Polyurethane is a better insulator because it has a lower k-factor.

Answer to Question 2

The fan motor, the 24 V automatic gas solenoid, the combination blower and limit control, the step down transformer, and the room thermostat.
